Chicken Rolls with Cheese and Broccoli
Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 4 pieces
- Broccoli 1 head
- Herbs to taste
- Sliced Processed Cheese 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Skim Milk 5 fl oz
- Garlic to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the broccoli in salted water for 5 minutes, drain, and rinse with cool water.
Step 2
At the same time, preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
Step 3
Lay plastic wrap on the table, place the chicken fillet on it, cover with more wrap, gently pound the breasts, and remove the top wrap.
Step 4
Sprinkle with spices and salt.
Step 5
Place a thin slice of cheese on one edge of each fillet piece.
Step 6
Blend the broccoli into small pieces in a blender.
Step 7
On top of the cheese, add 3 tablespoons of broccoli. Using the bottom wrap, roll it up, secure the seam and ends with toothpicks.
Step 8
Heat a pan with two tablespoons of oil over medium heat.
Step 9
Fry each side of the roll in the pan for no more than 1 minute.
Step 10
Grease a baking sheet with oil and place the rolls seam side down.
Step 11
Bake for half an hour at 200°C (392°F), without opening the oven.
Step 12
While the rolls are finishing, make a light sauce: mix the milk with broth and spices in the pan where you fried the rolls. Cook for no more than 6 minutes.
Step 13
Remove the rolls, drizzle with the sauce, and serve with herbs and a slice of lemon.
