Chicken Roll-Ups with Smoked Cheese

Ingredients

  • Skin-On Chicken Breasts 1 piece
  • Bacon to taste
  • Melted Cheese 0 oz
  • Ground clove 2 pieces
  • Green peppercorns 7 pieces
  • Ketchup 2 tablespoons
  • Soy Sauce 4 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Pound the chicken breast.

Step 2

Cut the cheese into sticks about 1 cm thick.

Step 3

Place a stick of cheese on the chicken breast and roll it up.

Step 4

Take three strips of bacon, lay them so that one slightly overlaps the other, and wrap the roll in these strips. Place tightly in a baking dish.

Step 5

Prepare the sauce. Crush the cloves and peppercorns in a mortar, add ketchup and soy sauce, and mix everything well.

Step 6

Generously coat the rolls with this sauce and bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 390°F. No need to add salt, as the bacon and cheese are quite salty. There is also no need to grease the dish: the bacon will provide enough fat.
