Chicken marinated in kefir, baked with potatoes and herbs
Ingredients
- Kefir 15 fl oz
- Chicken Thighs 4 pieces
- Salad Potatoes 6 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Marinated cherries 8 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
First, prepare the marinade. Finely chop the garlic, add it to the kefir, season with salt, add pepper and herbs. Marinate the thighs for about 20–25 minutes.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and cut them into wedges. Place them in a baking dish, add olive oil, salt, pepper, and herbs. Crush the garlic cloves with the side of a knife and place them on the potatoes.
Step 3
Cut the cherry tomatoes into quarters and add them to the dish as well. Place the chicken on top of the potatoes and pour the remaining marinade over it.
Step 4
Bake in the oven at 390°F for about 40 minutes.
