Description

Instead of wine, you can use apple juice.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Liver 20 oz
  • Antonovka apples 1 piece
  • Spanish onions 1 head
  • Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
  • Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Ocean salt to taste
  • White Pepper (whole) to taste
  • Dried Chamomile ½ teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the onion in half and slice it into thin half-rings. Sauté the onion in olive oil until golden.

Step 2

Add the liver to the onion and fry for a couple of minutes.

Step 3

Peel the apple, cut it in half, and slice it thinly. Add it to the liver.

Step 4

Pour ½ glass of dry white wine into the liver. Add salt and ground white pepper. Cover the saucepan with a lid and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Add ½ teaspoon of marjoram and simmer for another 3 minutes.

Step 6

Serve with salad leaves, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Step 7

Rinse the liver, pat it dry, and cut it in half.
