Chicken Legs with Rosemary and Thyme
Ingredients
- Chicken bones 8 pieces
- Rosemary 3 sprigs
- Thyme 3 sprigs
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Sugar a pinch
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the legs, rub with salt and pepper. Gently lift the skin and stuff the pockets with a mixture of garlic, lemon juice, rosemary, and thyme. Place the prepared legs in a baking dish lined with foil, top with the remaining herb mixture, drizzle with olive oil, and cover with another sheet of foil. Pinch the edges.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 390°F (about 400 degrees Fahrenheit).
Step 3
Place the dish in the oven and cook for 30 minutes. Then remove the top sheet of foil and bake for another 20 minutes.
Step 4
Serve drizzled with the juices from baking.
