Chicken in Tarragon Sauce
Ingredients
- Poultry 1 piece
- Onion 1 head
- Chicken Broth 5 fl oz
- Carrot 1 piece
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Celery salt 2 pieces
- Cilantro to taste
- Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
- Tarragon 1 stem
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel and chop the onion and carrot. Slice the celery into thin rings. Sauté the vegetables in vegetable oil.
Step 2
Cut the prepared chicken into portioned pieces, coat in flour, and fry in vegetable oil. Add the sautéed vegetables, simmer for 5 minutes, then pour in the wine mixed with broth. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Chop the cilantro and tarragon. Add to the chicken and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 4
Sprinkle the finished chicken with tarragon.
