
Chicken in Piri Piri Sauce

Description
You can use any number of chili peppers from 6 to 12 to your taste.
Ingredients
- Salt to taste
- Poultry 0 lbs
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Mild Chili Spice 10 pieces
- Minced garlic 1 tablespoon
- Dried Rosemary ½ teaspoon
- Paprika ½ tablespoon
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Red Wine Vinegar 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F. Place the chilies on a baking sheet and put them in the oven for 10 minutes. Let cool.
Step 2
Finely chop the chilies.
Step 3
In a skillet, combine the chilies, garlic, 1 teaspoon of salt, oregano, paprika, olive oil, and vinegar. Cook, stirring, over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Let cool.
Step 4
Transfer the mixture to a blender and puree until smooth. Transfer to a container and store in the refrigerator for about a month.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 390°F.
Step 6
Season the chicken with salt and pepper and brush with the sauce.
Step 7
Heat a skillet well and sear the chicken on all sides for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Step 8
Transfer to a baking sheet, brush again with the sauce, and place in the oven until cooked through.
