Chicken in Lavash
Ingredients
- Armenian Lavash 4 pieces
- Chicken Thighs 5 pieces
- Herbs 1 bunch
- Egg white 2 pieces
- Cheese Spread 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place 2 lavashes on a baking sheet, one on top of the other.
Step 2
Season the chicken with salt and pepper, rub it well with chopped herbs, and place it on the lavash.
Step 3
Cover the chicken with the remaining 2 lavashes. Carefully wrap everything into an envelope.
Step 4
Brush everything with well-beaten eggs.
Step 5
Send it to the oven for half an hour.
Step 6
After that, take it out and sprinkle with grated cheese. Return to the oven for another 10–15 minutes.
Step 7
Cut into portions so that the chicken thigh (drumstick or leg) remains whole inside.
