Ingredients
- Chicken hearts 20 oz
- Soy Sauce 3 tablespoons
- Mineral water 10 fl oz
- Lemon 1 piece
- Sugar 2 teaspoons
- Onion 2 pieces
- Carrot 1 piece
- Wheat Flour 1.5 tablespoons
- Sour Cream 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thoroughly wash the chicken hearts and soak them in cold water for half an hour.
Step 2
Trim any excess from the hearts, cut them in half, and marinate in a mixture of soy sauce, mineral water, sugar, and the juice of one lemon. Salt (to taste) and pepper. Leave for a couple of hours.
Step 3
Cook covered until all the liquid evaporates.
Step 4
When the hearts start to brown, add the sliced onions, grated carrot, and flour. Sauté for a few more minutes.
Step 5
Add sour cream and a little water. Simmer covered for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
