Chicken Fillet with Basil in Creamy Ginger Sauce
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 1 piece
- 10% cream 10 fl oz
- Onion 3 heads
- Mayonnaise 0 oz
- Dried Chamomile to taste
- Basil to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ginger to taste
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken fillet into slices 1-1.5 cm wide.
Step 2
Season the fillet with salt and sprinkle with dried marjoram. Crush the basil leaves in your hands and sprinkle them over the fillet as well.
Step 3
Add mayonnaise and mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate for 1 hour.
Step 4
After an hour, fry the fillet in vegetable oil on both sides. Add chopped onion cut into medium-sized cubes and fry together with the chicken. At the same time, add finely chopped ginger (approximately the size of one large clove of garlic) and continue to fry on low heat.
Step 5
Pour in the cream and simmer on low heat until it thickens.
