Description

Chicken fillet stewed in cream

Ingredients

  • Onion 1 piece
  • Chicken fillet 25 oz
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Dijon Mustard 1 tablespoon
  • Cream 22% 5 fl oz
  • Ocean salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Thyme to taste
  • Basil to taste
  • Butter 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the chicken fillet into pieces of your desired size. I cut it into large pieces, about 4 parts.

Step 2

Peel the onion and garlic. Slice the onion into thin half-rings and chop the garlic coarsely.

Step 3

In a large pot, mix the chicken, onion, garlic, mustard, and olive oil. Add spices and salt to taste. Arrange the chicken in an even layer and pour the cream over it. You can skip the butter, but it tastes better with it.

Step 4

Place in a preheated oven at 390°F (about 400 degrees Fahrenheit) and cook for half an hour. Then reduce the temperature to 300°F (about 300 degrees Fahrenheit) and cook for another half hour, then reduce the temperature to 210°F (about 210 degrees Fahrenheit) and simmer for another hour.

Step 5

Now you can start your meal, or you can leave it in the oven overnight without opening it. It will taste even better!
