
Chicken Fillet in Sweet and Sour Sauce with Pineapple

Ingredients
- Garlic 1 clove
- Chicken fillet 30 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Canned Pineapple Chunks 10 oz
- Soy Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Carrot 0 oz
- Olive Oil 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Long-Grain Rice 10 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Dried Chamomile to taste
- Passata Tomato Sauce 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken fillet into cubes and sauté in a well-heated pan without oil until all pieces turn white (about 7–10 minutes).
Step 2
Dice the bell pepper, onion, and carrot (the carrot can be sliced into rounds).
Step 3
Heat the oil in the pan and sauté the vegetables for 5–7 minutes.
Step 4
Then add the soy sauce, tomato paste, and simmer the vegetables for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Finally, add the minced garlic and pineapple, then add the chicken fillet to this mixture and mix thoroughly.
Step 6
Simmer for another 5 minutes, and at the end, sprinkle with herbs (a little, so as not to overpower the flavor), salt, and pepper to taste.
