
Chicken Fillet in Honey Marinade with Lemon Juice

Description
The juice of one lemon can be substituted with half a teaspoon of citric acid. I add a bit of water to the marinade, which increases the amount of marinade and allows all the pieces to be evenly coated. I let it sit covered for about 7-10 minutes, resulting in a more caramelized finish and a more pronounced flavor, but it remains moist. My family prefers it this way.

- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 10 oz
- Honey 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- Spices to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the chicken breasts and cut them into cubes. Place them in a deep bowl. Set aside.
Step 2
For the marinade, mix honey and vegetable oil. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Pour the marinade over the chicken and mix well. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 4
Place the chicken along with the marinade in a preheated skillet. Sauté over high heat until all the liquid has evaporated. Then, reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and simmer for 5 minutes.
