
Chicken Fillet Baked in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- Onion 1 piece
- Chicken fillet 30 oz
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Fresh basil leaves a pinch
- Herbes de Provence a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Baking Tomatoes 1 can
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken fillet into pieces and place them in a ceramic dish greased with olive oil. Season with salt and place 3 chopped cloves of garlic on top.
Step 2
Put the chicken in a preheated oven at 355°F for 30 minutes.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, peel the canned tomatoes and mash them with a fork, pouring the pulp back into the tomato juice.
Step 4
Add the chopped clove of garlic, onion, basil, herbs de Provence, salt, and pepper to the mixture and stir.
Step 5
After 30 minutes of baking the chicken, spread the tomato mixture over the fillet and let it cook for another 15–20 minutes at the same temperature.
