
Chicken Chakhokhbili

Description
You can prepare chakhokhbili in the same way using lamb, which should be cut into 3-4 pieces per serving.
Ingredients
- Onion 2 heads
- Poultry 1 piece
- Tomato Puree 2 tablespoons
- Vinegar essence 1 tablespoon
- Port Wine 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the prepared chicken carcass, cut it into small pieces and fry in a shallow pot with heated oil. After that, add finely chopped onion, tomato puree, vinegar, wine, 1/2 cup of meat broth, salt, and pepper to the pot; cover the pot with a lid and simmer for 1.5 hours on low heat. Before the end of cooking, add sliced tomatoes.
Step 2
When serving, place a slice of lemon on each piece of chicken and sprinkle with herbs.
