Chicken Casserole
Ingredients
- Cheese Spread 5 oz
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 2 pieces
- Onion 1 piece
- Pickled Chanterelles 1 jar
- Turnips 3 pieces
- 10% cream 4 tablespoons
- Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
- Grill Meat Spice Blend to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Ground Nutmeg to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sauté the mushrooms in olive oil with finely chopped onion, cream, and spices.
Step 2
Slice the chicken breast into thin strips, marinate in spices and lemon juice.
Step 3
Lay the strips of meat in a greased baking dish on the bottom and sides.
Step 4
Sprinkle with grated cheese. Add the remaining mushrooms.
Step 5
Next, add the grated carrots.
Step 6
Top with spiral pieces of the remaining meat.
Step 7
Bake at 390°F for about 30 minutes. The casserole will release a lot of juice after 30 minutes.
Step 8
Drain the juice and sprinkle the connections between the pieces of meat with cheese, return to the oven and let the cheese melt and brown slightly.
Step 9
Let it sit in the dish for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a plate.
