Chicken Breasts with Tomatoes and Basil
Ingredients
- Tomatoes 2 pieces
- Chicken fillet 10 oz
- Basil 1 bunch
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the breasts and pat them dry with paper towels.
Step 2
Make a cut in each breast without cutting all the way through and flatten them.
Step 3
Season the inside of the breasts with salt and pepper. Place basil and slices of tomato in the center of each.
Step 4
Fold and secure the edges with toothpicks.
Step 5
Fry in a small amount of vegetable oil for 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through (the meat should be opaque with no pink color when cut).
