Chicken breasts stuffed with goat cheese and herbs
Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 4 pieces
- Semi-Smoked Sausage 5 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Scallions 3 stalks
- Goat cheese 5 oz
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Italian chopped parsley to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Peel the garlic and crush it in a mortar with the seasoning 'Italian herbs with Himalayan salt'. Finely chop the green onion. Add the chopped green onion, goat cheese, a pinch of black pepper to the mortar with garlic, and mix everything together.
Step 2
Make a cut in the side of each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through, to create a pocket. Lightly pound the chicken breasts. Fill the pocket with the cheese mixture.
Step 3
Then wrap each breast with 2-3 strips of bacon.
Step 4
Place the stuffed breasts tightly together in a small deep baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
