Chicken Breast with Cocktail Sauce
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 15 oz
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Butter 0 oz
- Ocean salt to taste
- Mixed Ground Peppers to taste
- Thyme 1 sprig
- Mayonnaise 1½ tablespoons
- Chili jam 1½ teaspoons
- Iceberg Lettuce to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat both types of oil in a skillet.
Step 2
Cut the fillet into steaks and place them in the skillet over high heat for 2–3 minutes.
Step 3
Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
For the sauce, place mayonnaise in a bowl.
Step 5
Add chili sauce to the mayonnaise.
Step 6
Mix thoroughly.
Step 7
Flip the chicken, season again with salt and pepper, add thyme, and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
Step 8
Flip again. Cover with a lid, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Step 9
Place lettuce leaves on a plate, add the chicken.
Step 10
Drizzle with sauce and serve.
