Chicken Breast Pastrami
Main Dishes • Jewish
Description
Now we can enjoy the fruits of our labor, namely the prepared pastrami. It can be eaten hot or cold. We use pastrami for sandwiches and salads.
Ingredients
- Oregano 3 teaspoons
- Chopped Sage Leaves 3 teaspoons
- Paprika 3 teaspoons
- Mustard Greens 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
- Chicken fillet 0 lbs
- Ground coriander 3 teaspoons
- Coriander essential oil 3 teaspoons
- Dried Chili Pepper ½ piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In one liter of clean (not tap) water, dissolve 2 tablespoons of salt. Place the rinsed halves of the chicken breasts in the water and leave them on the counter for 2 hours.
Step 2
Mix all the coating ingredients until smooth.
Step 3
Remove the breasts soaked in the brine and dry them well with paper or a cloth towel. The coating won't stick to a wet surface.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 480°F. Line a baking dish with foil or simply use a disposable dish.
Step 5
Generously coat the breasts and place them in the dish. Put them in the fully heated oven for 15 minutes.
Step 6
After 15 minutes, turn off the oven and, without opening the door, leave the dish in the oven for 2 hours. During this time, the breasts will cook through the residual heat.
