Chicken baked with tomatoes
Ingredients
- Chicken Drumstick 0 lbs
- Onion 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Tomatoes 3 pieces
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Baking Tomatoes 10 oz
- Dried Rosemary a pinch
- Dried Rosemary a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Place it in a skillet and fry until golden brown for about 15 minutes, then transfer it to a baking dish.
Step 2
Cut the tomatoes and peppers into small cubes. Slice the onion into half-rings and the garlic into slices.
Step 3
Sauté the onion and garlic lightly. Add the peppers and tomatoes, and sauté for 5 minutes. Pour in the canned tomatoes, bring to a boil, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Pour the sauce over the chicken. Add oregano and rosemary. Place in an oven preheated to 355°F for 15 minutes. Rice is a perfect side dish.
