Chicken baked with butter and herbs
Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Poultry 1 piece
- Tarragon 0 oz
- Bacon 5 oz
- Salt to taste

Wash and dry the chicken. Preheat the oven to 390°F.

Soften the butter with a fork and whip slightly.
Step 3
Chop the tarragon and bacon. Mix with the butter and whip.
Step 4
Carefully separate the skin from the meat of the chicken with your fingers to create pockets in the breast, drumsticks, and wings.
Step 5
Stuff these pockets with the butter mixture, rubbing it into the meat. Fill evenly, paying special attention to the breast (as this meat is the driest).
Step 6
Place the chicken on a greased baking tray breast side up, wrapping the tips of the wings in foil. Bake at 390°F until cooked through, about 40 minutes.
