Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet 1 piece
  • Herbs to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive Oil to taste
  • Apple 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the chicken, place it in a dish, and drizzle with olive oil.

Step 2

Chop the herbs. Sprinkle the chicken with herbs (parsley + dill) and add salt.

Step 3

Mix everything, cover with a lid or plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Step 4

Take the chicken out of the refrigerator, brush off the herbs. Slice the apples into thin wedges.

Step 5

Make deep longitudinal cuts in the chicken and stuff with apple wedges.

Step 6

Preheat the oven to maximum. Take a baking dish and line it with foil. Place the remaining apple wedges on the foil, and place the chicken on top.

Step 7

Wrap the foil and send it to the oven for 25–30 minutes. When the smell of apples fills the entire apartment (after 25–30 minutes in the oven), remove the dish and unwrap the foil.

Step 8

Reduce the heat to 390°F (about 400 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake for another 15 minutes until cooked through (until lightly browned).
