- Coarse Salt 55 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour 1.5 kg of salt evenly over the baking sheet, covering the entire surface. Then place it in the oven and let it heat up to 430°F.
Step 2
While the oven is heating, take the prepared chicken (washed, dried, and gutted) and cut it open along the belly (from tail to neck), drying the inside if necessary.
Step 3
Once the oven has heated up, remove the baking sheet and place the chicken cut side down on the salt so that the chicken is fully resting on the salt, not touching the baking sheet.
Step 4
Set a timer for 40 minutes.
