Chicken and Bacon Solyanka
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 5 oz
- "Petelinka Thigh Fillet" 5 oz
- White Cabbage 5 oz
- Red Currant 5 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Sour Cream 5 tablespoons
- Chili jam 1 tablespoon
- Baking Tomatoes 10 oz
- Ocean salt to taste
- Semi-Smoked Sausage 0 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Duck Fat 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel and chop the garlic. Cut the bacon into small pieces.
Step 2
Shred the cabbage.
Step 3
Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces.
Step 4
In a preheated deep skillet, add the bacon. Fry for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Stir. Add the duck fat.
Step 6
Add the chicken fillet.
Step 7
Fry for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt to taste.
Step 8
Add the cabbage. Reduce the heat.
Step 9
Add the peeled tomatoes and chili.
Step 10
Mix well.
Step 11
Cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes.

Place the sour cream in a deep bowl. Squeeze the garlic into it using a press.

Add the sour cream to the solyanka. Add ground pepper to taste.
Step 14
Mix thoroughly and season with salt to taste. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
Step 15
Serve on a plate, garnish, and enjoy.
