Cheese and Mushroom Pockets
Ingredients
- Pork Skewers 12 pieces
- Marinated cherries 10 oz
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Sliced Processed Cheese 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut and pound the meat.
Step 2
Place a good slice of cheese on each escalope, followed by the sliced mushrooms and garlic (you can press it and mix it with the mushrooms).
Step 3
Gather the edges of the escalopes into a pouch and tie with string or secure with toothpicks.
Step 4
Place each pouch in foil shaped like a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and transfer to a baking dish, covering with foil.
Step 5
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and allow to brown for about 10–15 minutes.
