Cheese and Herb Sausages
Ingredients
- Herbs 1 bunch
- Cheshire Cheese 5 oz
- Breadcrumbs 5 oz
- Onion 1 head
- English Dry Mustard ¾ teaspoon
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Parmesan Cheese 0 oz
- Peanut Butter 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine 150 g of breadcrumbs, chopped onion, grated cheddar, herbs, mustard powder, salt, pepper, egg yolk, and mix well. Divide the mixture into 12 parts and roll into sausages.
Step 2
Mix 25 g of breadcrumbs with parmesan. Dip each sausage in egg white, then roll in the breadcrumb-cheese mixture.
Step 3
In a large skillet, heat the oil and fry the sausages for 5–7 minutes.
Step 4
Before serving, place on paper towels to remove excess oil.
