Cheese and Herb Fritters
Ingredients
- Amaranth grain 5 oz
- Arborio rice 5 oz
- Lentils 5 oz
- Dill 1 bunch
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Melted Cheese 4 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the grains and boil them for 15-20 minutes in separate pots (or you can cook them together). The rice should become soft and sticky.
Step 2
Finely chop the dill (or any other herbs).
Step 3
Mix the amaranth, lentils, and rice, add the egg (optional), flour, salt, and pepper. Form fritters, placing a small ball of mozzarella in each.
Step 4
Fry in a pan until golden brown, then place in an oven preheated to 390°F for 10 minutes.
