Chebureki with Meat in Crispy Dough
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Water 25 fl oz
- Salt 2 teaspoons
- Sugar 2 teaspoons
- Butter 5 oz
- Vodka 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sift the flour into a large bowl.
Step 2
Dissolve the salt and sugar in the water.
Step 3
Make a well in the flour, pour in the water solution, vodka, and vegetable oil.
Step 4
Knead the dough thoroughly, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest at room temperature for about an hour.
Step 5
While the dough is resting, prepare the filling. Beef or lamb works well for the filling, or you can make a mix of these two types of meat.
Step 6
Roll out the prepared dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of no more than 3 mm. Use a small plate to cut out circles of dough with a diameter of 15-20 centimeters.
Step 7
Fold the dough in half and seal the edges as tightly as possible to prevent them from opening during frying and to keep the filling from leaking out.
Step 8
Shape the chebureki and fry them in a large amount of oil.
