Ingredients
- Potato 20 oz
- Ground meat 20 oz
- Hard Cheese 5 oz
- Tomatoes 10 oz
- Onion 5 oz
- Butter 2 spoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and boil them until tender.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion.
Step 3
Dice the tomatoes.
Step 4
Sauté the onion in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Step 5
Add the tomatoes and sauté for 2–3 minutes.
Step 6
Add the minced meat, season with salt and pepper, and cook until done.
Step 7
Once the potatoes are cooked, drain the water, add butter, season with salt, and mash.
Step 8
Grate the cheese using a fine grater.
Step 9
Place the minced meat in a baking dish.
Step 10
Spread the mashed potatoes over the meat filling and smooth it out.
Step 11
Sprinkle with cheese.
Step 12
Bake at 355°F for 30 to 35 minutes.
