Carp with Vegetables in Sour Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • Carp 1 piece
  • Onion 2 pieces
  • Carrot 1 piece
  • Potato 2 pieces
  • Sour Cream 1 jar
  • Spices to taste
  • Butter 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the fish into fillets. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Peel the onion, carrot, and potatoes, and slice them into thin rings. You can also grate them coarsely. The thinner the slices, the faster the dish cooks.

Step 3

Layer the onion, carrot, and potato in a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. You can add dried herbs to taste.

Step 4

Place pieces of fish on top of the vegetables. Insert pieces of butter between the fish.

Step 5

Pour in 40 ml of water and bake for the first 20 minutes at 355°F.

Step 6

Remove the fish from the oven. Season the sour cream with salt, and if desired, mix it with mayonnaise and add garlic. Pour the sour cream sauce over the fish and bake until the potatoes are done, approximately another 20 minutes.

Step 7

Garnish the finished fish with herbs.
