Ingredients
- Carp 1 piece
- Carrot 1 piece
- Leek 2 heads
- Potato 1 piece
- Mayonnaise 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Spices to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Clean the carp from scales, making sure to remove the gills, gut it by cutting open the belly, and remove all large bones. Then rinse thoroughly with cold water.
Step 2
Next, rub the fish well with salt and let it sit to brine for 20–30 minutes.
Step 3
Peel the carrot and grate it on a coarse grater. Slice the onion into half-rings. Peel the tomato (to do this, pour boiling water over it, and the skin will come off without the flesh).
Step 4
Sauté the onion over low heat under a lid with the addition of sunflower oil until golden (5–6 minutes), then add the carrot and tomato to the onion and sauté for another 5 minutes.
Step 5
Add salt, spices to taste, and two tablespoons of mayonnaise to the cooked vegetables, mix everything, and fill the belly of the carp with the resulting stuffing. Spread mayonnaise over the carp on all sides.
Step 6
In a baking dish with the fish, add 110 ml of water and place it in a preheated oven at 355°F for 30 minutes.
