Carp Fried in Sour Cream

Description
To prevent the fish from falling apart in the pan, it should be drizzled with lemon juice.
Ingredients
- Carp 4 pieces
- Onion 2 heads
- Sour Cream 1 can
- Carrot 1 piece
- Bay leaf 1 piece
- Green peppercorns 7 pieces
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Clean the carp from scales. Cut in half crosswise. Season the inside with pepper. Fry.
Step 2
Chop the onion and carrot, and fry until golden brown.
Step 3
Dilute the sour cream in 60 ml of warm water.
Step 4
Place the fish in a Dutch oven or high-sided skillet. Top with the onion and carrot. Add the bay leaf and pepper. Carefully pour in the sour cream.
Step 5
Simmer in a hot oven covered for 15-20 minutes. Baste a couple of times with the juices that form. Serve with herbs.
