
Carp Fried in Sour Cream

Description
The simplest homemade recipe, where the mild taste of carp is enhanced by a vibrant creaminess from sour cream. The carp needs to be baked in the oven, for which you will need a thick-walled dish.
Ingredients
- Carp 4 pieces
- Onion 2 pieces
- Sour Cream 1 tablespoon
- Carrot 1 piece
- Bay leaf 1 piece
- Green peppercorns 7 pieces
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop the onion and carrot, and sauté until golden brown.
Step 2
Mix the sour cream with two teaspoons of water.
Step 3
Clean the carp from scales and lightly fry it.
Step 4
Take a deep baking dish, a Dutch oven works well. Place the carp inside, sprinkle with the sautéed onion and carrot, add the bay leaf and pepper. Pour the sour cream sauce over it.
Step 5
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
