Carp Cooked in Apple Juice

Description
It can be served with vegetables or your favorite side dish, hot or warm.
Ingredients
- Beetroot 2 pieces
- Mirror Carp 2 pieces
- Onion 3 pieces
- Carrot 2 pieces
- Apple juice with pulp 0 qt
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Bay leaf to taste
- White Pepper (whole) to taste
- Coarse Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Clean the carp and cut it into steaks (you can leave the head if you like).
Step 2
Chop the beetroot, onion, and carrot (coarsely).
Step 3
Place all ingredients in a large pot, add salt, pepper, bay leaf, and herbs (tied in a bunch). Pour in the apple juice to cover all ingredients.
Step 4
Put on the heat and bring to a boil. AS SOON AS IT BOILS!!! (this is important), reduce to a low heat and simmer for 1.5–2 hours, avoiding boiling.
