Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry 20 oz
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Carrot 1 piece
  • White Cabbage 20 oz
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 6 tablespoons
  • Herbs to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable Oil to taste

Peel and chop the onion.

Heat the oil in a skillet and add the onion to sauté.

Peel the carrot and grate it.

Add the grated carrot to the skillet.

Shred the cabbage and add it to the vegetables. Stir and cover with a lid. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Add the tomato sauce and stir.

Season with salt and add pepper. Stir, cover with a lid, and cook for another 5 minutes.

Chop the herbs. Add to the skillet, stir, and let the filling cool.

Grease a baking sheet with oil and spread half of the dough on it. Place the filling on top.

Add a second layer of dough and seal the edges. Brush the pie with egg yolk and make fork holes in the top layer of dough. Let the pie rise for 10 minutes and then place it in an oven preheated to 355°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 35–40 minutes.
