Cabbage fritters made with kefir

Ingredients

  • Kefir 1 cup
  • Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
  • Salt 2 teaspoons
  • Sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Ground Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
  • Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Herbs to taste
  • Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour to taste
  • White Cabbage 20 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare the batter like you would for pancakes.

Step 2

Add flour until the batter resembles thick sour cream.

Step 3

Add the baking soda at the very end!

Step 4

Do not use vinegar to activate it; kefir will do that job.

Step 5

Add the shredded cabbage and herbs to the batter.

Step 6

Mix thoroughly.

Step 7

Spoon onto a preheated skillet with a small amount of vegetable oil.

Step 8

Cook until golden.

Step 9

Serve with sour cream or sauces based on it.
