
Cabbage Casserole with Meat

Cauliflower can be replaced with broccoli.
Ingredients
- White Cabbage 15 oz
- Cauliflower 5 oz
- Carrot 5 oz
- Onion 5 oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground meat 15 oz
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the white cabbage.
Step 2
Pour boiling water over the cauliflower (or broccoli) and slice it thinly along the florets.
Step 3
Peel the stem of the cauliflower from the tough outer layer and grate it on a coarse grater.
Step 4
Slice the onion into thin rings.
Step 5
Peel, wash, and grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
Step 6
Sauté the prepared vegetables in vegetable oil, adding the tomato paste at the end.
Step 7
Layer half of the sautéed vegetables evenly in a greased deep skillet, then add a layer of ground meat, followed by the remaining sautéed vegetables.
Step 8
Bake in the oven at 390°F until cooked through.
