Cabbage Casserole
Ingredients
- White Cabbage 10 oz
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Turmeric 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Cheese 0 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely shred the cabbage, then salt and press it to release some juice and reduce its volume slightly.
Step 2
Add the eggs; if the whites are beaten beforehand, the casserole will be fluffier, but I did not beat them in this case. Season with garlic, pepper, coriander, and turmeric (1 teaspoon each, leveled). Nutmeg can be used instead of coriander and turmeric.
Step 3
Grate the cheese (I used cheddar), and mix part of it into the cabbage.
Step 4
Place the cabbage in a baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes at 355°F.
Step 6
Those who wish can add chicken or ground meat to the basic casserole recipe.
