Description
Important! Mussels that do not open should not be eaten! Discard them without hesitation, and enjoy everything else with a glass of dry white wine. It's delicious to eat the soup from the mussel shell instead of using a spoon.
Ingredients
- Shrimp 35 oz
- Pasta shells 35 oz
- Tomatoes 5 pieces
- Sweet Red Onion 2 pieces
- Garlic 1 head
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Dry White Wine 10 fl oz
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the shrimp and mussels. It is preferable to use fresh seafood.
Step 2
Sauté the onion in a large pot with good quality olive oil.
Step 3
When the onion turns yellow, add finely chopped parsley, garlic, and fresh tomatoes, and sauté for another 20 minutes.
Step 4
When the sauce becomes almost homogeneous, add the shrimp and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Add the mussels.
Step 6
While stirring, create an even temperature in the pot. After that, cover the pot with a lid and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Step 7
As soon as the buzara boils, add the white wine. The buzara is ready when the mussels open and release their juice.
Step 8
Sprinkle the buzara with fresh parsley, add a bit of pepper and salt, and remove from heat.
