Ingredients
- Steaks 5 oz
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Thyme 2 sprigs
- Pink Himalayan Salt a pinch
- Mixed Ground Peppers a pinch
- Butter 0 oz
- Iceberg Lettuce to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Let the steak rest at room temperature for 5–10 minutes.
Step 2
Brush the steak with olive oil on all sides.
Step 3
Place the steak on a preheated skillet. Sear on high heat for 2–3 minutes.
Step 4
Prepare a sheet of foil.
Step 5
Flip the steak and sear for another 2–3 minutes, reducing the heat slightly.
Step 6
Place the steak on the foil.
Step 7
Season with the pepper mix.
Step 8
Top with butter and a sprig of thyme. Add salt.
Step 9
Seal the foil and let the steak rest for 5 minutes.
Step 10
Place the steak on a bed of lettuce leaves and serve.
