Bulgur seafood paella
Ingredients
- Bulgur 5 oz
- Seafood cocktail 5 oz
- Onion 5 oz
- Garlic 5 cloves
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Tomatoes 10 oz
- Saffron a pinch
- Paprika 1 tablespoon
- Mild Chili Spice to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Chicken Broth 10 fl oz
- Parsley to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Cook the bulgur until it's partially tender, about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion and 4 cloves of garlic.
Step 4
Cut the tomatoes into quarters and use a knife to remove the skin. Dice the flesh into cubes.
Step 5
Heat half of the olive oil and sauté the onion until translucent, then add the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
Step 6
Add the tomatoes, spices, and bulgur.
Step 7
Gradually add the broth to the bulgur until it is cooked through. Taste and season with salt.
Step 8
Heat the remaining oil, add the crushed garlic clove, and sauté the seafood for 2 minutes. Set aside.
Step 9
Serve the paella on a platter or directly from the skillet, topping it with seafood.
Step 10
Serve the paella, garnished with finely chopped parsley.
