Buckwheat zrazy with cottage cheese
Ingredients
- Buckwheat Groats 5 oz
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Cottage cheese 10 oz
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the cottage cheese with 1 egg and a tablespoon of sugar. Thoroughly mash everything until smooth. It's better if the filling is not too liquid, otherwise it will be difficult to shape the zrazy.
Step 2
Bring the milk to a boil, add the butter and buckwheat, and cook until done.
Step 3
In the cooked buckwheat, add the remaining tablespoon of sugar, the egg, and lightly salt. Mix everything well to achieve a dough-like consistency.
Step 4
From the resulting mixture, form patties. To prevent sticking, it's better to sprinkle the work surface and your hands with flour.
Step 5
Place the cottage cheese filling in the center of the patties and shape the zrazy. I must say, this task requires some skill, especially if the filling is a bit runny.
Step 6
Steam the prepared zrazy for 20–30 minutes.
