  • Prunes 5 oz
  • Walnuts 5 oz

Rinse the buckwheat, toast it in a dry skillet, and mix it with vegetable oil.

Step 2

Rinse the prunes, simmer them in a small amount of boiling water, drain, cool, remove the pits, and chop into small pieces.

Step 3

Chop the walnuts.

Step 4

Combine the buckwheat with the prunes and nuts, pour boiling water over it so that the water slightly covers the buckwheat, add salt, and cook on low heat for 20–30 minutes.

Step 5

This porridge can be served with cream or sour cream.
