Ingredients

  • Buckwheat Groats 5 oz
  • Chicken Egg 2 pieces
  • Sour Cream 1 tablespoon
  • Breadcrumbs 3 spoons
  • Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable Oil 2 spoons
  • Scallions 1 bunch
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the buckwheat in a pot, pour in 2 cups of hot water, and add salt.

Step 2

Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 20 minutes.

Step 3

Turn off the heat, cover the pot with a lid, and let it steep for another 20 minutes.

Step 4

Place the buckwheat groats in a bowl, crack an egg, and add sour cream.

Step 5

Blend until smooth.

Step 6

Add the flour and mix well.

Step 7

Boil the egg hard, peel it, and cut it into small cubes.

Step 8

Finely chop the green onions and mix them with the egg. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 9

Shape the buckwheat mixture into patties, place the egg filling in the center, and form elongated cutlets, sealing the filling inside.

Step 10

Coat the patties in breadcrumbs.

Step 11

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the meat patties on all sides until golden brown.
