- Buckwheat Groats 1 cup
- Cottage cheese 5 oz
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Breadcrumbs ½ cup
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil, add salt, pour in the buckwheat, and cook for 30–50 minutes.
Step 2
When the porridge thickens, add the mashed cottage cheese, eggs, and sugar, and mix well.
Step 3
Form patties from the prepared mixture, coat them in breadcrumbs, and fry in melted butter on both sides until golden brown.
Step 4
Serve with borscht or pickle soup.
