Ingredients

  • Olive Oil 10 fl oz
  • Dried Red Pepper 1½ teaspoons
  • Garlic 12 cloves
  • Broccoli 0 lbs
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Coarse Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Heat 300 ml of oil in a large skillet, add the dried pepper, half of the garlic, and sauté, stirring occasionally, until golden brown for about 2 minutes. Add the broccoli and 125 ml of water, reduce the heat, and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, until tender for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Step 2

Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat and add the garlic. Sauté, stirring occasionally, until golden brown for about 5 minutes. Drain the oil and set the garlic aside. Before serving, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with the sautéed garlic.
