- Broccoli 1 head
- Garlic 0 oz
- Egg white 1 piece
- Olive Oil ¼ tablespoon
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Milk ½ cup
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
- Ground Black Pepper ¼ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
We need to select the broccoli, then place it in a small pot with boiling water, cover with a lid, and cook for 5–6 minutes. Then drain the excess water and remove the broccoli.
Step 2
In a large bowl, beat the egg.
Step 3
Add the flour, cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix, then add the milk and stir a little. Then add the broccoli.
Step 4
Mash everything with a potato masher or fork, just like you would prepare mashed potatoes.
Step 5
In a preheated skillet, add a little oil and start cooking our fritters over medium heat. Spoon the liquid batter onto the skillet and shape it. In five minutes, everything will be ready! Place the fritters on a paper towel.
Step 6
You can use garlic sauces as a dressing, and they can also be served as a side dish. Or you can simply enjoy them with some delicious bread.
