Braised Smoked Cod
Ingredients
- Butter 0 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Salad Potatoes 0 lbs
- Milk 25 fl oz
- White Cabbage 20 oz
- Hot smoked pink salmon 10 oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves 1 tablespoon
- Chopped Green Onions 1 tablespoon
- Ocean salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel and finely slice the onion. Wash, peel, and dice the potatoes. Chop the cabbage coarsely. Break the cod fillet into pieces.
Step 2
In butter, sauté the onion until soft, add the potatoes and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the cabbage and pour in the milk. Cover, bring to a boil, and simmer until the potatoes are tender.
Step 3
Add the cod to the dish and cook for another 10 minutes. Sprinkle with herbs, season, and serve in warmed deep plates.
