Braised Kohlrabi
Ingredients
- Kohlrabi 20 oz
- Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
- Sour Cream 1 can
- Tomato Puree 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Cinnamon to taste
- Parsley to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the kohlrabi bulbs and cut them into small slices. Season with salt and coat the slices in flour, then lightly fry them in vegetable oil.
Step 2
Place the fried kohlrabi slices in a pot, add some pepper and cinnamon. Mix the sour cream with the tomato puree and pour this mixture over the kohlrabi, then cover the pot with a lid and simmer on low heat for 40 minutes.
Step 3
Before serving, sprinkle the kohlrabi with parsley or dill.
